Integrated Management Systems

Combined Quality and Environmental Management Systems

Integrated means combined; putting all the internal management practices into one coherent system. The revised 2015 ISO9000 quality management and ISO14000 environmental management  standards have much in common:

  • Document development and control
  • Training
  • Internal audit
  • Management review
  • Corrective action
  • Continual improvement

The introduction in 2017 of ISO45000, the international Occupational Health and Safety Management standard, will make it easier to integrate these requirements with the Quality and Environmental Management Systems. You can have one aligned management system, saving time and costs from managing more than one management system.

There are several good reasons for integration:

  • Reduce duplication and therefore costs
  • Harmonise and optimise practices
  • Create consistency
  • Improve communication
  • Turn the focus onto business goals
  • Eliminate conflicting responsibilities and relationships
  • Facilitate training and development

Clark Quality will provide an integrated management system for your business.
A complete system can be developed or additional components can be integrated into an existing system. For example, environmental management requirements for ISO14000 can be integrated into your existing ISO9000 system.
